Cheetal deer in Keoladeo Ghana National Park.
Though there are jackals, due to absence of other large predators it is a bit easier to watch cheetals due to absence of apex predators. However, feral dogs create a big problem

Beautiful photograph.
The Chital's ability to exist in a reduced physical condition and its fast breeding have enabled Indian predators to roar back from near extinction in early seventies.

Nice to see it feeding in peace, but the ears show it is still on alert to check for any warning signals. Liked the colour and the details of the coat. Was it very close, so you went for a vertical composition? Thanks for sharing.
Nice cool image! The spots looks very distinct. The deer is alert despite the absence of big predators!
