Goose barnacles (order Pedunculata), also called stalked barnacles or Gooseneck barnacles,
filter-feeder crustaceans oftenly seen live attached to hard surfaces of rocks and other objects such as Woods, floats, ropes bottles in the ocean intertidal zone.

Possible species: anatifera
Place: Kalbadevi (sandy shore), Ratnagiri, Maharashtra
Size: 0.8-6 cm (animal size from shell + peduncle/stalk)
