Photographed this early last year at Thubarahalli lake, Bangalore. The BG was very cluttered with lots of shrubs and bushes. Cropped a bit from the top.
Canon 350D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 100, f5.6.

The image seems a bit unsharp. did you upload a >200kb file?
Would have like a bit more space on the right
Nice compo. I don't find the BG too distracting. Would have preferred a horizontal.
Did a bit of extra PP ( levels+sharpening) Tell me what you think about it.
Are you sure this is an Indian Robin? The vent region is white... I've always seen it red. A different race? On the other hand it isn't a magpie robin...no white belly, and very little white on the wings for a MR...
New species?... Please do reply...
i think its pied bushchat.......
Thanks for the id help. I was not sure of the id as the vent region is white and not red as Abhishek have mentioned, but was not sure.
Abhishek thanks for the re-post. It looks better.
This is an old file photograph, searched it out and posted .

Nice image, although I wish it was on a natural perch. Definitely a Pied Bushchat.
