Found this near Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra.
(correct me in the identification. The Black Throated Accentor seems to have a black cap as well. Is this a Rufous Breasted Accentor instead?)
Nikon D800, 80-400G at 400mm.

I think you are right. It is a black throated Accentor. The extraordinarily cold winter seems to have driven it so far south. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
Nice one..... i think this is Siberian Stonechat Male....
Nice image, good details. Not very sure about the ID, I don't have a guide with me, but I doubt you'll find accentors as far south as Malshej.
Beautiful image with nice details. The catch light looks good and the eye contact adds to the image. A slightly off centered composition with space in front of the bird and less space at the bottom may have also worked with enhancing the composition.
Thanks for sharing

I think I'll go with Sucheth except I feel its a Juvenile Siberian Stonechat male. Nice details. Thanks for sharing.
I was unsure about the Siberian bit. Will re-check.
