Nice moment captured. Would have loved a off-center composition. The licking shows it just had a heavy meal.

Cropping 15% from right and 10% from bottom will make it perfect as it is full frame already. Also little more contrast would help ?
We would like to see another close up (head) shot of licking...!!

I agree about the contrast but the centred compo is fine as the focus is entirely on the animal.
