This koel came to our papaya tree and started munching.It comes often and I could get only a dark image(used shutterr priority) and as result used ex compensation.

Nice to see it on a papaya tree. Good eye contact. As you said the image got underexposed, giving a +EC would have helped. There is some noise in the background. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. During my childhood days we had a papaya plan with crow nest in it and koel had given eggs in it after throwing the crow eggs. When I used to go on top of my house, the crows were attacking us as the nest was close by, without realising that they were guarding eggs of a Koel.
