EOS 40D, 500f4 + 1.4x converter, ISO 400 on Aperture Priority @ f5.6, handheld, cropped for monitor dimensions.
Enjoy. This is the benefit on shooting in bursts.
Thanks for looking, c & c welcome.

Nice one. Its sharp. I too use burst mode for a couple of shots till the head angle is right. It would have been great if the wing would have been up. I wish to see this fellow trained when I am there next time.

Hi Apana
Love the details especially the eyes. What was the Shutter speed used here ? the reason for the question is, the eyes, beaks and body are extremely sharp, while it is a tad lower towards the tail feather tips. Would be great to know if the shutter speed has any part to play in this . . .
Regards
Rajan
Such a great oblique shot. It seemed like a fish, in thumbnail
I guess the shutter speed to be around 1/1000 s.
Thanks & Regards

Can i borrow you camera, lenses and your luck...ha!ha! Excellent work Apana. Eye is so clear in this flight shot too... love it. Keep going...
what a perfect focus....so crisp and clean image...do you same image with different wing position ?
