You can plant trees but cannot create forests
Nice feel of the range Mohan Raj. The landscape looks nice though the light seems a bit harsh especially towards the left side of the image. I feel you could have skipped the sky and the hills at the back and only concentrated on the hill upfront. Nevertheless a nice image. Is that a stream on the lower right side of the image? Thanks for sharing.
Nice landscape. The sparse vegetation nicely documented. Agree a early morning or late evening light would have enhanced the composition further. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it is a stream on the lower right. Light was harsh.
"Savannah" means an eco system characterized by the trees being sufficiently small or widely spaced so that the canopy does not close.This term is not much used in India but your picture epitomises the definition.A Savannah with a lovely stream.Where else you want to be?!......
