I finally got the bull bison that had eluded me for years, but was focally challenged and thus attempted a portrait.
EOS 40D, 500f4 + 1.4x converter, ISO 800 on Aperture Priority @ 5.6, 1/25, handheld.

Lovely composition. The details in the eye are amazing. The ripples in the water and the sharp nose adds to the image further.

I like the composition. Its sharp and has lots of details. The eye gives a very peaceful feeling. I am tempted to crop the little bit of horn that is visible. Thanks for sharing.
