Nice image. I think moving slightly to your left would have been even better, as the other eye would have been hidden. The best pose to click and get both the eyes visible is when the bird looks directly at the lens. In this case, that would not be good, as the other eye may not be in light.
Also, if you were to the left or the bird would have turned its head, then more of the beak would have come into focus. The background looks fine and overall the image looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
