Cute bird. Which camera and lens? Though a bit lacking in sharpness, it looks nice. How much of crop is this? Where exactly? Mahanadi is a a big river passing through several states.

The camera used is Canon PowerShot SX20IS. This picture was taken a few kilometers upstream of Mundali barrage during Chandaka-Dampada Bird census.
Nice environment photograph. I liked the low angle. The background compliments the bird. You could have used a higher aperture for a narrower aperture and more details. Thanks for sharing.
