Common to see one in Bandipur but difficult to capture it,as it always runs into the bushes on our approach.

A horizontal frame probably would have looked better on this. The feather pattern looks good and I like the eye contact.

I agree with the previous comments. Tough to get the entire bird covered in depth of field from this pose.
