This image of a wild tiger stalking its prey was created in Bandhavgarh National Park, India. The hind leg falls exactly at the same spot where its foreleg is, to minimise noise due to rustling of leaves. It can place the hind legs at exactly the same spot. I often marvel at the accuracy of this and forget to click.
Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM plus EF 2xII i.e. 800mm at ISO 800, f5.6, 1/250 sec. Full frame.
Spot metering with +1/3 EV.
