    Default Pheasant tailed jacana

Shot at lotus pond, hyderabad in july. The incessant rains along with the campus recruitement excercise at college have ensured that I didn't do birding for quite some time. Hence, delved into the archives to find this.

Nice photograph Bhargava, Nice dtails seen on white part even taken from 14.9 meters distance. Water droplets on the leaves looks pretty. Focus and sharpness maintained at low shutter speed of 1/160, I guess you have used tripod.

The composition is nice. The stalk just behind the tail is a bit of a bother for me, otherwise this works well. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Bibhav. If you would have clicked after it would have taken two steps to the right, then it would have come out even better. The eye contact is nice. It would have been even better if the Sun was behind your back. Look forward to more.

    Cheers,

Nice composition with good habitat display. Difficult to get the eyes lighted in this bird.Increasing the overall brightness of the image will be good ,I think.TFS

I liked the display of the habitat. The pose and the eye contact is nice. Thanks for sharing.
