    Default Terned!

this river tern was runnin around and calling her chicks...
It's been a while I posted an image of this bird..so delved into the records to find this
    f5.6,1/1000sec,ISO 200, EV +0.3, 400mm,ranganthittu.
    canon 60D, canon 100-400 L IS USM
A narrower aperture would have surely been better, but all's part of the learning curve, ain't it!

    thanks

Tough one. The light had already become harsh. Unless you click it early in the morning, the bird droppings pose a challenge. The glint in the eye look good. It would have been great if you could have got water in the background. Thanks for sharing.

The eye contact and the calling pose looks nice. Since the light was harsh you could have given a slight negative exposure, presently you have given +0.3 EV, so whites look a bit overexposed. Using a narrower aperture would have been good to get the tail feathers in focus. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.
