Shot this in Shamirpet this weekend while birding with Bhargava , these birds were pretty relaxed and let us close in on them. We were shooting at a distance of only 6-8 feet away. Was a pretty pleasant experience and the place deserves many more visits (probably with a hide). This particular frame was shot while we were walking back to the car.
I believe that one must spend ample amount of time around birds and get them acquainted with you before you start shooting them candidly. Taking a leaf out of my 1st image discussion with the members here and Sabyasachi I have left this image untouched except for cloning out the other 2 sides of the fence and only hope to get all the techniques correct for minimum post processing in the days to come.
Please let me know if the techniques worked.
