Chalakudy river

Some of you may have seen this place in a movie involving a few big hindi cinema stars. Any Guess?

It was evening, and I was tired. When you are tired, you make mistakes. So I didn't get into the water for a better angle. I had clicked a few record shots thinking of clicking more later. However, the light was not to my liking and hence didn't click again.

Ravan i guess. Manirathnams entire set got washed away in the river once. Serves him right. Heard that his crew created a mess inside the Silent valley Reserve on shoot for the same film.

Beautiful waterfall. It looks quite good in the movie too. I think the forest department should be quite strict when allowing shooting in such areas. Thanks for sharing.

Yes. As mentioned by Roopak, the movie Ravan was shot at this place. Unfortunately, the tourism traffic is huge.
