Nice habitat portrayed, the eye contact is fine. 1/50 ss is too low, you could have increased the iso to 3200 or even more

Have always found them hard to get in open. At least in Pune, you hear their calls, spot them in the vegetation but I am yet to get one in open at a close distance
The image is quite sharp considering the shutter speed. Wish couple of distracting grass blades near the eye were not there. TFS.

It is good you got the eye in the clear. Some more space at the bottom from the top would have included the tail tip in full. Still to photograph this one, in spite of sighting it as it vanishes very quickly . Thanks for sharing.
