Pity about it being so far away, and these move too fast to dial in exposure compensation.

I agree with Apana. This is a tough one to catch. I don't remember a flight shot of a Shaheen from anyone. I wish to see one bigger in the frame. Hope one of you can click it some time.

Good record shot. I agree they are difficult to photograph. You could brighten the image a bit.
P.S. I had once posted a shot of a Shaheen in flight (http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3750). But since it was too difficult to keep in the frame at the telephoto end, I photographed it at a shorter focal length and then cropped the image. This one's pretty much a record shot too.
