    Default Mark IV- ISO 5000

I was testing the in camera noise reduction. The noise reduction in camera was set to standard.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 5000, f6.3, 1/125, processed in lightroom. I found that DPP does a better job if the incamera noise reduction is on. However, DPP doesn't have a facility to place your copyright symbol on top of the image.

    Cheers,

The ISO capability is great. I didnt get the part about the noise reduction and DPP. Can you elaborate?

The composition is nice. Was there a bit of shake? I like the foreground. Cute bugger

I guess you are referring to the reflection in the eye. No shake here. DPP understands the incamera noise reduction and the luminance and chroma noise reduction is set accordingly. It definitely does a better job at such high ISOs and when in camera noise reduction is on.

Yea, the reflection in the eye gave a feeling that there was shake . Thanks for explaining the incamera noise handling.

ISO 5000 looks good. The eye contact is nice, sharp. Photographing them is quite difficult. Thanks for sharing.
