Lovely first post.
Beautiful composition. Sharp. Liked the eye contact and the perch. The diagonal branch adds to the image. Thanks for sharing.

Sharp image. For the purpose of critiquing, black borders distract, so it is better to post images without borders for critiquing. I would have used a narrower aperture (higher f number) to get the whole bird in focus.
Nice first Priya and Welcome to Indiawilds. The image is sharp and clean. I am still confused if it is Ashy Prinia or a Plain Prinia.
Hi Priya,
Nice first post.
I like the eye contact here.
What was the shutter speed? I couldn't find the exif details in the image.
I agree that the thick black border is distracting and doesn't help in critiquing. The overall image is slightly dark and needs about a one third stop more brightness and some fill light in the dark areas.
The shutter speed might be low. Else, I would have suggested a narrow aperture like f8 or higher. That would have brought the tail into focus. However, it is a challenge. Because, these birds move fast and need a higher shutter speed to arrest the subject motion.
Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more images from you.
Cheers,
