Difficult conditions to photograph. Its good you got it looking towards you. A higher ISO and a slight narrower aperture would have been good. How long was the sighting? As the light was bad a +ve EC would have helped. Thanks for sharing.

Harsh lighting condition. In such situations one needs to lower the contrast. Since you were shooting through vegetation, a longer lens would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
