Tough scene as the lion is in a bush. If the bamboo on the left would not have been there, the image would have been enhanced. If you are using lightroom then move the tint slider a bit. Thanks for sharing.

This is one of the few images where there is no obstruction. I learn that this king was involved in a fight with another male when we sighted him on the other side. He walked across in a hurry and retired to this bush. He rested and was moving his head.

Lovely image Anandji. The eye contact is nice and the expression can be related to his breathing and moving his head while doing so. Very nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Good photograph under trying conditions.If there are two lions, say brothers/siblings,these lazy males will be lying down within the thickets for long hours,rolling,sleeping.One feature of Asiatic lion is noticed, less mane at top of the head.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
