An old bull can weigh upto 900 kgs.
Food: Mainly grass, also browses on leaves and the bark of certain trees.
By nature shy and timid. As with most wild cattle, hearing and eyesight are comparatively poor.
Visits 'Salt-licks'--Such earth acts as a purgative and rids animals of internal parasites.
Their defence is their massive size and acute sense of smell.
