First shot, with new lens of Common Jumping spider (Pellenes nigrociliatus)
Not sure About ID. Please Help.


With Canon 550D, and Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens

Congrats on the new lens. Nice you could photograph a jumping spider with it. The details are nice. Good eye contact. Do you photograph mostly at night? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudal.. I love to take photographs at night instead of day ..day time we have find animals but At night not only Arachnids but other animals mostly show their hunt face..:D

Congrats on the new lens Bhavya!
This looks like Hasarius adansoni to me... Do you have any shot of the abdomen? If you look in the right places, you can find jumping spiders in their element during the day, since most of them are diurnal hunters. Of course, shooting at night does reveal some interesting sights :).

No... Abhishekh I don't have abdomen image.. only front view.. but i am little sure about Id.. But Again I will conformed it..

Congratulations on your new lens! Its a sharp lens and it is upto you to extract the maximum out of it. I agree with Abhishek, that trying to find out these diurnal species during the day time would be a big help to your photography.
