There was cloudy low light day. Do not get much light in inbuilt flash and More ISO:sad:Macro of these dragonfly not possible..even I try but don't get clear shots...
so i tried some new composition and experiments on these fly, without light.
Try to take shots with some distances with all angles.. cropped 20% and And Apply Sepia..
I first Prefer B/W on this but not satisfied..
With Canon 550D-18-55mm
F:10
ISO:400
SS: 1/4000

I like the idea of creating a silhouette. The clouds add to the mood of this image. You had a very high shutter speed, so I would have preferred a +ve EC to get the sky a bit brighter. You could try more contrast in this image, either by pushing up the highlights or by increasing the contrast itself. Thinking whether an off-centred composition would look better.

The silhouette looks good. The clouds add to the feel of the image. Agree a off-centred composition would look good. Maybe since you had a high shutter speed, you could have used a more narrower aperture to get the wings in focus. Thanks for sharing. Keep experimenting.

I am fine with the idea of creating a silhouette. An off-centred composition would have enhanced the image.
