Thorn Mimic Treehopper (probably Leptocentrus sp.) photographed at Pay Master Park, Matheran. As the name suggests, the thorn-like projections from this bug's thorax help disguise it as a part of the stem on which it stays motionless.

Abhishek,
Is it full frame or cropped?

It is not easy to use built-in flash especially on a moist surface. The branch appears angled in, however that results in out of focus areas. Without the out of focus bright spot slightly above the treehopper, this image would have been better. Do you have any more images of this species? Attractive eyes.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Quite a different species. Good details. Cropping a bit from the left till before the start of the branch would be good. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks.
Sabyasachi: Made a mistake in the original post... This is cropped a little from the bottom and right. I have a few other shots, but I like this one best for the angle.
