The third and final image in my series. (Follows Spitting Spider series (#2) - Indiawilds: Land of the Tiger. Conservation, Wildlife Photography, Communities (http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6985))
Here the spider starts feeding on the first gnat (after killing both). It fed on both the gnats within a few minutes and went off.
(More info on spitting spiders- Spitting spider - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spitting_spider))

Canon 500D, Canon 100mm Macro USM
(Same EXIFs as the earlier image-)
Aperture-Priority AE
Tv 1/100
Av 6.3
EC -2/3
ISO 1600
Full frame.
Would have had many more usable shots of the sequence, had the light been better... But I count myself fortunate to at least have witnessed it. :)

Thanks, C&C awaited.

Abhishek,
This image has come out well. Clearly tells the story. Fine natural history moment. This will help in educating a lot of people. Hopefully, people will realise the importance of small critters as well. Else, in the forest there is a mad race to spot a large predator. Thanks for posting.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Rare natural history moment captured. It is good that you could witness and photograph the whole incident. It was very educating. The details and the composition is fine. Thanks for sharing.
