I could have easily increased the iso for a higher shutter speed but this sighting was so quick that I had no time to change the setting. This does happens especially to me, no matter you see tigers so often....Excitement:laugh:
Sighted this at Basavanna Katte on 15th Jan'10 @ 8am
Camera Model Canon EOS 40D, 100-400mm
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/60
Av( Aperture Value ) 5.6
ISO 250
Focal length 400mm
Cropped
Hand held

Beautiful eye contact. A bit more space at the bottom would be good. I am not sure but I think reducing the sharpness a bit would be good. Thanks for sharing.
P.S - You can keep the default ISO to 400, in 7D that would be quite safe. Since you don't want to miss out when you see a tiger :).

The peeping pose and Eye contact are nice. Agree on reducing sharpness. The sighting itself is a great gift, Not to worry praveen im sure there will be loads more coming your way and you will certainly make good of them.:thumbup1:

Thanks guys for the comments.
Sabyasachi - yes I did run the NR about 40-50%
Mrudul - how do we set up the iso 400 as default?

I dont find any problem with this ISO on my TFT.
I am surprised with the sharp eyes and face, which came out outstanding.
