The image is sharp. Unfortunately, one won't realise that this Nilgiri Tahr is not in a zoo. The habitat modification from rocky to cemented walls makes it look like a zoo. It is tough for these fellows as the vehicles zoom past them at high speeds. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image, good to see the Tahr so relaxed. The concrete steps can mislead and does not portray the habitat. I wish we can always see them on hills and slopes with plenty of vegetation.

With more tourists pouring in the tahr in Valparai is in despair. They are fed with all sort of stuff brought in from the civilization below.
A barricade to deter tourists and even the tahr in the 9th HP bend is very much required to re-make them truly wild..

Nice to see the Tahr.Valparai photos of Tahrs seems to be always among civiilization.....
