Created with a slow shutter speed. I had set 1/60 as the shutter speed and expected to capture some blurs, if the gaur made any movements. If not, I was sure of a sharp image at that shutter speed.
Canon EOS 50D, EF 300mm f4 L IS USM, ISO 800, 1/60, f8, full frame image.
It soon moved away.

Seems it snorted just when you clicked. Wish the light was better so you could have had a higher shutter speed to freeze the movement. Thanks for sharing.

Creating pleasing blurs is not easy. One gets a single attempt right out of multiple tries. In this case I was ready to try capturing a motion blur. To freeze it I would have had to bump up the ISO to atleast ISO 3200 to get 1/250 th of second. Even that would have been on the lower side. The gaur snorted with a head shake and then looked at me. I backed off and it moved away.

Wow! Too close a shot, for comfort of both. The blur effect is nice
