Didnt know If this belonged in the Others category or the mammals category. In the end I decided let weight and volume decide. :)
This was shot in Ranganathittu in September. This is cropped.

Superb interaction. Otters often harass others due to their spirit and agility. They are even known to kill large pythons.
This is why I always want people to move around with a camera, how ever small the lens may be. In this case, despite a 420mm optical focal length, the subjects seem to be far off. Nevertheless, a very good documentation.

Quite a rare action photographed. The low angle is nice. Its nice to Otters in Ranganathittu. Thanks for sharing.

Are otters regularly seen at Rangantittu? been there twice, long time ago, did not see any :(
Rather, did not look for them as I did not know they are found there.
Did you try a crop with less of the foreground and more of the background? I think even a square crop could help center the attention .

They are generally not seen. I was lucky to see them. The boatman said that ours was the first sighting of otters in 5 months at Ranganathittu.

Lovely behaviour captured. Agree with Vikram about cropping out some of the FG.
