There were be 3 top awards, Gold, Silver and Bronze. In addition to those, there were also be 6 'Merit Awards' and 3 'Admin Choice Awards' to be given out.
and fortunately my above photo was selected in admin choice award in Focused In On Photography - in Feb Contest Winners

The action is good. I would have preferred to see this in a vertical as in that way you could have included the whole body of both parakeets as well. Do share the exif of this image. Congrats on the award.

These are called rose ringed parakeets. Not parrots. There is just one type of parrot available in India. They are called vernal hanging parrots.
