Both animals are not perturbed by the presence of the other!...The one horned tusker laways roams around alone but the other one moves with the herd!

Both these species exist peacefully in the same habitat. Also the deers might be feeling safe with elephants around them. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

Deers know there is a lot of benefit from being around an elephant. When elephants break twigs from trees or pull down fruit laden branches, deers too get food. Tigers are known to attack unprotected elephant calves that have wandered a bit far from the protective ring of elephants. Nevertheless, by remaining close to the elephants, deers too know that they can depend on the sense of smell of elephants and the sheer presence of these giants means chances of sudden attacks can be less.

Herbivores generally move together in a symbiotic relationship of mutual advantage .Langurs on treetops and deers below are a common sight in the Indian forests. One sees a wide variety of herbivores around forests waterholes feeding and drinking in mutual acceptance till predator appears on the scene ,when they make a run for it .Thanks for sharing this jungle image .
