Elephants at Munnar!

There is a magnificent grassland on the wy from Munnar to Madupetty adjoining the catchment of a dam......often people see wild elephants munching on juicy grass.We saw these 3 some during our Neelakurinji season visit in 2018!

Nice sighting. It is always a pleasure watching elephant calves play while feeding.

We too were in Munnar for the Neelakurinji 2018 season. However, the rains prevented us from visiting this spot. Hopefully next time. Thanks for sharing.
