ID: Dragonfly(Common name) Specific ID appreciated

Had a keen eye on a couple of these beauties resting onto the neighbour's compound wall on a fiery afternoon, after eagerly awaiting for it, with the aid of some strong breeze one of them shifted to my in-law's garden area and settled onto the garden wall, giving me an opportunity to capture one of the beauty. Also luckily, atleast for a moment, it wasnt aware about my presence in its close proximity and hence aiding me to get several close up and full length frame of the helicopter.

Nice 'stance'. A little more DoF needed, f5 is not advisable when shooting at this distance unless you are actually trying a low dof perspective. I think you could have afforded to go to a slightly lower shutterspeed in this situation.

Have lost touch with dragonfly ID... maybe this is a globe skimmer or marsh glider? :)

The low angle looks nice. Agree with Abhishek about using a narrower aperture. Maybe next time :). Thanks for sharing.
