Hi Roopak, Saktida and Mrudul, thanks for sharing your views. i was not able to get the bird in AF, in fact I had never been able to get this bird in AF though i sighted it 2- 3 times earlier and then there is their agility. This time i switched to Manual Focus and could manage a decent shot for the first time, before it flew away. I find them very fascinating for their unusual colors.
