found this on the wall of a health sub centre building in a remote location, while on a periodic inspection. looks a butterfly but not sure.

Extremely rare moth among the species of leaf moths. This particular image is of dead Leaf Moth (Radhica flavovittata, Lasiocampidae). Thanks for sharing

Nice catch! Lasiocampidae for sure. It looks like Arguda sps to me. (Tempted to say Arguda vinata, but better not go to the species level unless absolutely sure! :)). A little bit of further online research on the size, habitats, distribution etc. might get you there.

Nature in its multifarious variety never ceases to amaze...this moth's camouflage is amazing in its natural habitat as one can assume looking at it. Also impressed with Debasis's knowldge :)
