Saw this beautiful colored black cap kingfisher quite a few times but every time I zoom on him, it flies off , finally able to capture him from some distance. Couldn't got his eyes clear but able to catch his nice coloration b'cose he was perched on a tree in a right position , it was perfect to take full coloration.

Nice sighting of this strikingly beautiful bird in the land of Kingfishers. It is fairly common in the Sundarbans. Black colour of the head and contrasting red colour of the large bill have come out well. Thanks for sharing.Saktiwild

The contrast coloration looks nice. Good eye contact. Agree it can be very difficult to photograph from a moving boat. You can upload a high resolution file of 1000 pixels on the longest edge, with file size upto 280kb. Thanks for sharing.

Thnx for your comments guys.
Mrudul , I tried uploading high resolution file but could not succeed in doing so b'cose of higher file size. Even at 1000pixel on longest size it was still bigger than 300KB.
Can you suggest alternate method.

Nice to see this colourful kingfisher. While converting the file you need to reduce the quality ie. instead of exporting the file at 100% at 1024 pixels, you can do that at around 70% at 1024 pixels. The size would be lower. If not, then you need to further reduce the quality.
