Photographed in Lesser Rann of Kutch (LRK). Liked the way these two were busy feeding and one point nearly entangled :).

Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 400mm 2.8 + 2x (used Sabyasachi's lens and tripod as they were a bit far), f6.3, ISO 400, 1/1250, full frame.

nice mrudul, wud been great if u had got them more side on and with eye contact on both and with the entire reflection....:D. Now wishful thinking isnt quite enough will greed adequately describe that...

This was early in the morning and the scene as expected didn't have much of contrast. If you look at the portion below the eye, the blacks are fine and more contrast would just deepen it.

I was filming scenes, but don't have the luxury of vertical compositions. With so many flamingoes, it is not easy to isolate them.
