Pug marks of tigress, cub sighted in Nandankanan area

Bhubaneswar, Jan 15 (PTI) A tigress and her cub are believed to be moving around Nandankanan zoo here with pug marks been sighted in the area, zoo officials said today.

Zoo personnel spotted pug marks of a Royal Bengal tigress and a cub yesterday but Nandankanan authorities said there was no cause for panic as the animals, who were believed to be moving in the sanctuary area, had not been sighted.

There are lot of rumours floating around. The local paper reported that two watchers heard some noise at 2.30 am and thought it was the tigress roaring and hid themselves in a truck parked nearby. With sea of two legged creatures all around, our four legged friends are not welcome. Soon you will hear the tigress and cubs captured and put behind bars.
