Great behavioral shot. There seems to be some loss of detail in the face. Is this a crop or did you have to open up the blacks?

this is brilliant...lovely image...the eyes, droplets of water and the ripples give this image sheer brilliance...

Kiran,
Nice action in some harsh lighting..
I wonder if going a little lower (if possible) would have helped.
Also i think you could have increased the ISO to 200 so as to
have a higher shutter speed.
Lastly since its a 50-60% crop I would love to see the original image
so that we can have a shot at recomposing it.
Thanks for sharing!

thanks guys.
Yes I tried opening up shadow areas... that why details loss and noise addition....
Mayank : shot this from hide, couldn't go for further low angle...would post than soon

Kiran,
I know the hide and one can't get a lower angle from there. It is great that you got it from the side. I have only got these drinking shots from behind. :-(
The shutter speed and dof is ok. I only wish you were closer. I guess a 500mm lens + converter would have been good in this case. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Hi Kiran,
Lovely action captured, the water droplets depicts that perfectly. The pattern in water and reflection is also interesting.
Look forward to more..
