Sabyasachi Patra is an award winning Director of Photography, Filmmaker and Conservationist based out of India. He is passionate about filming taking up causes and projects that he believes in. He also shoots for International Broadcasters and has shot for HBO USA in the recent past.

Sabyasachi does selected shoots for corporates and has shot for Mediacom, GSMA/Bharti Airtel. He just completed shooting a documentary for the Maharashtra Government.

Sabyasachi is available for filming with Canon Cinema EOS C300 camera, various DSLRs, Go Pros, aerial filming for Narratives, Corporates, TVCs, wildlife and social documentaries etc. If you have a script and budget, we can turn your dream to reality. Canon Cinema C300 Mark II field review :

 

He uses his Canon Cinema EOS C300 camera as well as specially converted DSLRs and Go Pro 4 cameras, Canon's extensive line up of L series lenses, OConnor fluid head, tripods and hi-hat's, Sound Devices recorders, various microphones, including shot-gun, wireless, stereo and parabolic microphones.

His film “A Call in the Rainforest”, an 18 and half minute documentary has been screened and receieved accolades in the following Film Festivals-

    • Awarded 'Vasundhara Award' by Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Maharshtra in the Vasundhara Film Festival organised by Environment Department and Pollution Control Board of Government of Maharashtra in June 2012.

A passionate activist and conservationist, Sabyasachi conceived IndiaWilds® in 2008, which has grown to be a Forum for Wildlife conservation and Photography of repute (3000+ members) as well as an online conservation magazine.
